TradeCertify ("we," "our," or "the Clearinghouse"), operated by the TradeCertify Editorial Team (Helsinki, Finland, European Union), provides an independent regulatory database tracking US contractor licensing, surety bond mandates, and commercial insurance minimums. We are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting international data protection standards, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Information We Do Not Collect

TradeCertify does not require user registration, logins, or payment processing. We do not store, sell, or collect personal identifying information (PII) such as Social Security numbers, contractor license registration passwords, or credit card numbers. All compliance calculators operate client-side in your local browser environment.

3. Analytics & Privacy-First Telemetry

We utilize Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site performance, error rates, and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first: it does not use client-side tracking cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, and does not track users across non-TradeCertify domains.

4. Third-Party Commercial Affiliate Tracking

TradeCertify partners with vetted third-party commercial insurance agencies, surety bond brokers, and affiliate networks (including Impact.com, FlexOffers, and direct insurance carriers). When you click an outbound link to compare insurance rates or request a surety bond quote (e.g., via our /go/ redirect routes), you are directed to a third-party partner's secure website.

These third-party partners may use cookies, tracking pixels, or URL parameters to verify that a quote inquiry originated from TradeCertify to attribute affiliate commissions. These third-party services operate under their own independent privacy policies. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third-party provider they engage with.

5. Cookies & Browser Storage

We do not use first-party profiling cookies. If third-party tools or partner platforms set cookies upon clicking outbound referral links, you can control or disable cookie settings directly within your web browser preferences at any time.
